G.N.M. Nursing

  • G.N.M. Nursing : General nursing and midwifery
  • Level : Diploma in Nursing Course 
  • Intake Capacity : Total 40 Admissions /year
  • Duration: Three years diploma course

 

A.N.M. Nursing

  • A.N.M. Nursing : Auxiliary Nursing and Midwifery
  • Level: Certificate Course in Nursing
  • Intake Capacity : Total 30 Admissions /Year
  • Duration: Two years certificate course 

 

Admission Criteria:-

B.SC. NURSING
  • The minimum age for admission is 17 years untill 31st December of the year in which admission is sought.
  • Minimum education: 10+2 class passed with Science (PCB) & English Core/English Elective with aggregate of 45% marks from recognized board under AISSCE/CBSE/ICSE/SSCE/HSCE or other equivalent Board.
  • Student should be medically fit.
  • Students appearing in 10+2 examination in Science conducted by National Institute of Open School with 45% marks.
  • Student are admitted once in a year.
GNM
  • Minimum and Maximum age for admission will be 17 and 35 years.
  • Minimum education:
  • 10+2 class passed preferably Science (PCB) & English with aggregate of 40% marks.
  • 10+2 in Arts (Mathematics, Biotechnology, Economics, Political Science, History, Geography, Business Studies, Accountancy, Home Science, Sociology, Psychology, Philosophy) and English Core/English Elective or Health care Science - Vocational stream ONLY, passing out from recognized Board under AISSCE/CBSE/ICSE/SSCE/HSCE or other equivalent Board with 40% marks.
  • 10+2 vocational ANM under CBSE Board or other equivalent board from the school and recognized by Indian Nursing Council with 40% marks.
  • Registered as ANM with State Nursing Registration Council.
  • Student shall be medically fit.
  • Students qualified in 10+2 Arts or Science examination or Health care Science - Vocational stream ONLY conducted by National Institute of Open School with 40% marks.
  • Student shall be admitted once in a year.
ANM
  • The minimum age for admission shall be 17 years on or before 31st December of the year in which admission is sought.
  • The maximum age for admission shall be 35 years.
  • The minimum educational requirements shall be 10 + 2 in Arts (Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Economics, Political Science, History, Geography, Business Studies, Accountancy, Home Science, Sociology, Psychology, and Philosophy) and English Core/English Elective or Science or Health care Science - Vocational stream ONLY passing out from recognized Board.
  • Student should be medically fit.
  • Students qualified in 10+2 Arts or Science examination conducted by National Institute of Open School.
  • Student admitted once in a year.

Rules & Regulations

 

  • Every student admitted to the B.Sc. Nursing, G.N.M. and A.N.M. course shall have to follow rules and regulations of the nursing college

  • Strict discipline will have to be maintained as required by the College administration. Defaulters and disobedient students are liable to be punished from the college and in such cases the decision of the Principal will be final.

  • All decision taken by the management are final and binding on the students.

  • Students are required to attend at least 80% in theory class & 100% attendance in clinical area and his/her attendance was low such students canít get permission to attempt the exam.

  • In case of illness, medical certificate must be sent immediately and the period so spent must be made up by the student under the guidelines given by the principal.

  • In case of prolonged illness or for any other valid reason the principal can recommend to the concerned authorities for loss of percentage of attendance not exceeding 20%. The order of the principal will be final.

  • Students are not allowed to display any notice within the college premise.

  • Arranging and holding meeting is strictly forbidden within the college premises without prior permission from the principal.

  • Students will be charged for the damages and losses caused by them individually or collectively. In this regard the decision of the principal will be final.

  • Students whose progress and conduct are considered unsatisfactory are liable to be detained from appearing in the annual examination.

  • The principal of the college can suspend a student temporarily from the college till the pending enquiries are decided.

  • The Management of College has unquestionable right the cancel the admission of any student.

  • Students should maintain silence in the class, library, reading room and in the corridors; students should make every effort to take care of same. They should not write on the black board, scribble on table, chairs, walls etc.

  • Regular and punctual attendance in all class activities like lectures, demonstrations, practicalís, clinical teaching, tutorials, text etc. must.

  • College reserves the right to modify any of the rule mentioned above and form new rules as and when required.
